GOLDEN Bachelor's Theresa Nist has yet to respond to ex Gerry Turner's petition for divorce, The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal.
Gerry, 72, filed for divorce from Theresa, 70, on April 12, 2024, in the state of Indiana after three months of marriage.

The first-ever Golden Bachelor filed to end their marriage due to an "irretrievable breakdown" of their union.
The only documentation that Theresa has signed off on, according to court docs obtained by The U.S. Sun, is a joint stipulation, informing the court that she agrees that their divorce should be handled in Indiana, rather than in New Jersey, where she resides.
Also, she acknowledged she received the initial filings of the divorce proceeding, including the petition for dissolution of marriage.
To date, however, she has yet to file her response to Gerry's petition.

The latest filing is from April 15 when the father-of-two filed a change of address, informing the court that he had written the wrong address for his home in the initial filing.
The U.S. Sun can also reveal that Theresa did not secretly file a separation petition for dissolution in New Jersey since some celebrity couples file for divorce twice.
She also appears to be self-represented at this time since an attorney has not been listed in her divorce against Gerry.
BUSY IN NEW JERSEY
Theresa appears to be preoccupied with other aspects of her life other than moving forward with her divorce - something she can file paperwork for over the Internet.

The senior compliance professional was recently seen in her hometown smiling as she chatted with someone on the phone.
Per her social media photos, Theresa has been spending time with loved ones as she posted pics dining at an Italian restaurant and hung out in Long Branch with her grandchildren.

She also has been focused on revamping her backyard since she posted about how gardening is a "joy in my life" and "feeds my body, mind and soul."
"It’s meditative and energizing all at once. And in the early morning and at the end of the day you get to walk around or sit back and relax and bask in its beauty," she captioned a series of photos.
SHORT-LIVED ROMANCE
Gerry and Theresa announced their decision to split on Good Morning America on April 12, the same day he filed for divorce.
Fans were stunned by the unexpected announcement after watching their televised wedding on January 4, which was attended by alum from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.

Theresa and Gerry got married in January live on ABC. Four months later, the two announced they were getting a divorce.
The now-former couple admitted to GMA that they couldn't make their long-distance romance work.
"Theresa and I have had a number of heart-to-heart conversations and we've looked closely at our living situation," Gerry shared.
"We've come to the decision mutually that it's probably time for us to dissolve our marriage."
They were originally planning a move to South Carolina, but never made a decision about their future home.
"I still love this person, there’s no doubt in my mind. I root for her every day," he confessed.
The former restaurateur lives in a $637k lakehouse in Hudson, Indiana, whereas the mom-of-two lives in a $568k humble home in Shrewsbury, NJ.
Theresa took to her Instagram a few days after sharing the news to post about having "one of the most incredible experiences" of her life despite the short-lived romance.
"I truly thought it was going to last forever. It turns out, even at the age of 70, you don’t know everything," she captioned her post.
TAKING SIDES
Theresa was proposed to during The Golden Bachelor finale, which aired in November 2023.
She was the final one standing after Gerry sent home 21 senior contestants.
His exes, Kathy Swarts and Susan Noles, made it clear whose side they were taking in the divorce.
During a recent episode of theBachelor Happy Hour: Golden Hourpodcast, the hosts claimed Gerry "got frustrated" at Theresa since she refused to move or give up her job.
"Gerry made a huge – let me emphasize huge – mistake. He could have had Susan. He could have had me," Kathy said.
"Gerry's a nice guy. Theresa's a lovely lady, you know, s**t happens. Sorry, it does," she added.
"We like them both but you know I'm sorry, you know someone a month or six weeks and these things happen."

Meanwhile, another one of Gerry's exes, Joan Vassos, will soon get another chance at love when her journey begins as the first-ever Golden Bachelorette.
The Bachelor spinoff series is expected to air this fall, but ABC has not yet announced the premiere date.
